Founded by Finnish growth company builders (Freska, Supermetrics, Yousician, Slush), Herizon is a nonprofit on a mission to employ international talent in the most impactful, cost-efficient, and sustainable way.

While working at an early-stage VC, Mari Luukkainen launched a rapid upskilling program to help B2B startups scale internationally. One of the first participants, a U.S. teacher unemployed in Finland for two years, led a Finnish edtech startup's U.S. expansion, boosting MRR from €100K+ to €400K+ and securing €10M+ in Series A funding.

This proved the untapped potential of international talent as growth makers.

Herizon has since grown from a VC side project into Finland's most cost-efficient nonprofit for international employment. We now help over hundreds of people get hired annually and aim to scale that impact to 100,000.
